TASIS Students Accepted to More Than 120 Universities

Students in The American School in Switzerland’s Class of 2017 have been offered admission to 128 colleges and universities in 12 nations, with 43 total offers coming from schools ranked in the top 100 of the 2016–2017 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, including four to University College London (ranked #15), two to University of Toronto (#22), one to London School of Economics and Political Science (#25), four to University of Edinburgh (#27), two to New York University (#32), and nine to King’s College London (#36).  

TASIS students also received offers from four schools ranked in the top 50 in the U.S. News & World Report’s liberal arts college rankings: Bates College (ranked #27), College of the Holy Cross (#32), Skidmore College (#38), and Trinity College (#38). These excellent liberal arts schools are not considered in the Times Higher Education rankings.

In all, students received acceptance letters from 60 schools in North America, 44 in the United Kingdom, and 24 from other nations in Europe (France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Spain, and Switzerland).
