Students in Grade Five and Grade Eight Say Goodbye Before Moving On

The annual TASIS Middle School Moving-Up Ceremony, which commemorates the passage of students from Middle School to High School, was held in the Palmer Center on the afternoon of June 6. The ceremony included remarks from Headmaster Lyle Rigg and Middle School Dean of Student Affairs MJ Breton, four student speeches, the announcement of awards, the presentation of graduation certificates to 52 students, three musical selections, and a year-end slideshow. The entire ceremony can be viewed below.


Two days later, the Elementary School held its Moving-Up Ceremony in the Palestra to say goodbye to the 34 grade five students who will be progressing to Middle School next year. Highlights from the ceremony, including remarks from Headmaster Lyle Rigg and Elementary School Head Theresa Cullen Hill and three musical performances, can be viewed below.
