Giving to TASIS
TASIS became a non-profit organization in 1996. Since tuition alone does not fully cover the cost of educating a student, in 1998 the Development Office was established to commence the School's fundraising effort. Hundreds of loyal alumni, parents, and friends have shown their strong support for the School by contributing to our Alumni Annual Fund, Parents’ Annual Fund and capital campaigns.
Contributions to the various annual funds have provided scholarships, purchased new lab equipment, brought wireless Internet capabilities to the entire campus, and equipped a state-of-the-art foreign language lab, among many other important projects. Generous support of our capital campaigns has enabled us to build the magnificent M. Crist Fleming Library and start construction on the John E. Palmer Theater.
You can help improve the TASIS educational experience & facilities.
Donate by check, wire transfer, credit card, or if you are a current TASIS parent, by requesting TASIS to add the contribution to your bill. Checks should be made payable and mailed to the TASIS Foundation, Inc., 303 Park Ave. South #1302, New York, NY 10010-365703.

Please note: TASIS is a 501(c)(3) organization and gifts by U.S. taxpayers are deductible as permitted by law (tax ID#13-6225772). Gifts by Swiss citizens are tax-deductible within the limits fixed by the canton and Bern. For other countries please consult your tax advisor.
Other ways to give:
- Gifts of corporate stock are much appreciated. The tax benefits of giving appreciated stock instead of cash can add greatly to the net value of your gift to the School.
- Bequests allow donors to include a gift in memory or on behalf of loved ones and to causes they have supported during their lifetimes. The TASIS Legacy Society
recognizes individuals who have decided to include the School in their estate planning. It is one of the most important ways for TASIS to assure that the School continues to flourish in the years ahead. Please consult your attorney or tax advisor for ways of doing this. - Donors can also contribute to TASIS through life insurance. A donor may contribute an existing life insurance policy, or may designate the School as the owner and beneficiary of a new policy. In either case, the value of the existing policy (or the amount of the donor’s investment, if less) or donated annual premium payments are fully deductible as charitable contributions.
- Corporate matching gifts are often available from US and international corporations that match their employees' contributions to organizations such as TASIS. Your employer's human resources can tell you if they offer a match, which can often up to DOUBLE the amount of your gift.
- A gift-in-kind is a non-cash gift such as an airline ticket credit from a donor's accrued frequent-flier mileage account or a camera for the Art Department. TASIS even once gratefully received an entire apartment full of furniture after a student’s family re-located out of Switzerland! Donors who wish to contribute gifts-in-kind to the School should first please consult with the Director of Development and Alumni Relations.
