Arts and Cultural Events Program

The Cultural Events Program at TASIS provides valuable cultural opportunities both on and off campus that are geared toward aspiring student artists.

All members of the TASIS community (students, faculty, staff, parents, friends of the School) are welcome to attend cultural events that take place on campus. All off-campus trips, however, are reserved for students and their chaperones.

To sign up for an event or request further information, please contact Simone Aeschliman at arts@tasis.ch or 091 960 5150.

A TASIS Theater Production, featuring TASIS students and faculty

      Please reserve seats for Antigone/CAESAR.

Director’s Note from Valerie Bijur Carlson:

Antigone, by Sophocles, and Julius Caesar, by Shakespeare, are two of Western Civilization's most famous tragedies and are used throughout the TASIS curriculum. Their themes of leadership, tyranny, and individual resistance still resonate powerfully with us today. Goodness, wisdom, and honor vie with pride, arrogance, and rhetoric through characters in conflict with themselves and each other. We invite you to come engage your mind and heart through the power of theater this November.
