The TASIS Elementary School will host an Open House for prospective families on Thursday, February 6. Guests will have an opportunity to tour both Al Focolare—an Early Childhood Center that serves students in Pre-Kindergarten 3, Pre-Kindergarten 4, Kindergarten, and first grade—and a number of buildings on the main TASIS campus, which serve Elementary School students in grades 2–5.
TASIS Headmaster Christopher Nikoloff, Lower School Head Timothy Fitzgerald, Elementary School Assistant Head Guia Berera, Early Childhood Coordinator Carol Hinchliff, and additional members of the Elementary School’s leadership team will also discuss the Elementary School’s core academic offerings—including the outstanding Core Knowledge Curriculum Series™, the highly effective Singapore Math program, an English Language Arts program designed to help students improve their reading, writing, and speaking levels at a rapid rate; and the unique structure of offering both an American Section and an Italian Section—along with other exceptional elements of its program.
The Open House will begin with a welcome in historic Casa Fleming on the main TASIS campus (Via Collina d’Oro 15, Montagnola) at 8:30 AM. (A valet parking service will be offered.) Mr. Nikoloff and the ES leadership team will then speak from 9:00–9:30, and a tour of the main campus and Al Focolare (Via Bora da Besa 9, Gentilino) will run from approximately 9:30–10:45.
