Basketball Tournament Raises More than CHF 1100!

The 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on Wednesday was a huge success! Many thanks to the High School Student Council for organizing this community-building event and to the many parent volunteers from the TASIS Parent Association (TPA) for running a delicious bake sale.

Between the tournament entry fees and food sales, the event raised CHF 1183! Most of the proceeds will be donated to the Nuovo Fiore Ethiopia Global Service Program group, which the winning team selected, with the remaining funds designated for another community-building event the Student Council will sponsor later this spring.

The TPA Bake Sale raised more than CHF 600.

Kadime Mbup Mandela from Irish Pub Sorengo sold burgers and donated a portion of the proceeds.

The Student Council’s faculty advisors and representatives look forward to sponsoring another fun event soon!
